This book is about a 15 year old girl, named Ruby who takes a journey to meet her father for the first time. when her mother suddenly dies, Ruby is forced to move the whole way across the country to a new city where everyone is super rich. Her dad is this super huge movie star. When she gets there, she is not all impressed with her father and does a series of stunts to see how he will react. When she starts to actually trust her father, he tells her something that will make her regret everytihing she has said and done to make him feel like a total jerk.
I love this book, it just says something because it's not like all the other books there are. At first i was a little afraid to read it because i don't like sad books but it really is'nt all that sad, except for this one part that makes the book a whole lot better. i hope you will pick up this book and i would definitely recommend this book to anyone.
