Colonial Times

Seventh grade students from Mr. Cripps' and Mr. Kashorek's classes are researching Colonial American craftspeople to enhance their study of Colonial times. The students visit online sites such as Colonial Williamsburg and can find an abundance of materials on the library shelves. They use the catalog on the library website to locate the books they needed. After Thanksgiving, students will present and demonstrate their crafts to their classmates.

Read Colonial America Historical Fiction for extra credit!!! Mr. Cripps and Mr. Kashorek have offered extra credit to students who would like to read an historical novel. You can find book ideas on a display in the library, or by asking Mrs. Duggan-Lay. See the librarian to find out how to create a book review about your book that will then be published on the library website.

Can you guess who this "colonial" person spinning wool in the picture below is?
